Just a camping guy

I went back to this place again this weekend. The sounds of nature surprised me even more this time. This place is in San Jose on the way to Mt Hamilton.

I got a case of poison oak on my face from last week's trip and was feeling sort of bad but decided to go out anyway. I am glad I did. Hiked about 8 miles on Saturday. It rained on Friday and Saturday nights.

I have been fanning the fire with my shovel and saw some ad in a magazine about a tool that pumps air into the fire. I decided to use my air pump and came up with great results.

The format of my blog will probably change in the next few weeks as some other sites have expressed an interest in linking to my blog. Maybe I am on my way to get a paying gig to go out camping.

I finally used my tripod this weekend for the moon pictures. I hope to use it more for the night pictures.
