Just a camping guy

I have started this blog on the road. I am starting to like this laptop and GPS thing. It allows me to view the route and make notes. I still have a long way to go to totally learn this program.

The drive up here was quite interesting. We saw a few deer, skunk, rabbit, and a black bear. The bear really surprised me as I think I did it. I wasn't able to get a picture of it as it scampered across the road too quick.

So far this weekend, it is Saturday afternoon, I have taken about 150 pictures. My camera eye has started to take on a more abstract view and I hope that I took some decent pictures. I am going to get a card reader so I can upload my pictures to the laptop so I can view them better than I can on my camera.

Met my park ranger friend, Christie(sp), again on Friday night. The county would be doing right to make her a trainer to show the other employees how to treat the guests. If you ever come to one of the Sonoma County parks try to meet her. She is one very nice person.

I am getting ready to take some more sunset pictures. It is just incredible here on the coast. I wanted to go to another place but I have to work on Sunday and didn't have enough time to get there. I have to do some more work on the truck next week so maybe they will get it done early so I can make the trek up there.
