Bowman Lake 08/06/06

The place this weekend was 39 27.586' N 120 36.698' W or also known as Bowman Lake. I started out trying to meet my sister and her family at Collins Lake but that place was too crowded and cramped so I headed out early on Friday morning.

I wish I would have stopped and taken some pictures of the old towns that I went through because they were quite amazing.

The first couple of pictures are of where I crossed the Yuba River. The next few are of Bowman Lake. Then there is a picture of my new digs. Jackson Creek is the rapids that you see. The wooden box is a comode that was set up for a 5 gallon bucket.. It was just sitting there. And no, it wasn't nasty inside of it. The next two pictures are of the almost full moon and the campfire.

Hope everyone enjoys them because I had a blast.

Thanks again for stopping by.
