Another Great Weekend Adventure 11/18

This weekend I went to Black Butte Lake. I was hoping to go to Mendocino Nat'l Forest but one of the rangers kept telling me that the creek was 3 feet deep and I didn't want to abuse my Blazer. While it wasn't as scenic as the beach there was wildlife out and about.

After finding my campsite I was driving back out to the gate to pay my fees for the weekend when I drove up on a herd of deer. Later on in the day they came up and bedded down for awhile right next to my campsite. Here are some pictures.

I saw a mountain in the distant that was topped with snow. Here are a couple of that.

Well everyone knows that this wouldn't be a post without a picture of my trusty tent.

I think that this is a stork. When I was leaving I passed by a large pond that had pelicans in it. I knew I should have stopped and took pictures. I may have to brush up on my birds.

While I was sitting around I noticed all kinds of birds and start taking pictures of them.

I tried taking some pictures of the moon. I think I need to get a tripod.

And that was my weekend adventure. Thanks to all who viewed it.
