Well my stress period was over late Friday night and I left to go camping early Saturday with my friend Sharon and her family. They got rained out on Friday night and had packed and left before I got there.
Many kudos to them for coming back when they found out I was almost there. I wasn't really sure if I was going to work the whole weekend or not and cell phone reception is spotty at best up there.
It was in Eldorado National Forest at about 4300 ft. Saturday afternoon was a little cloudy and had a few sprinkles but it cleared up. The temp dropped to high 20's Saturday night and there was a hard frost. That is what you see on my tent. After the sun rose above the trees it warmed up pretty fast and turned into a very nice day.
I tried to take some pictures of the steam rising this morning but the glare from the sun took away from it. I guess you will just have to take my word that it was very nice to look at this morning.
Still need to work on getting on the other side of the camera. Well, there is always next weekend.
