Just a camping guy

Well another great but yet wet weekend. I can't beleive what pigs people are out in the woods. There are trash cans out there but people still throw their stuff in the fire ring or surrounding area.

Add that with some of the locals coming up there after the bars closed makes me what to check it as a place not to go. Maybe the Lake and Mendocinco county S.O.'s can work together to clean it up.

Sorry there aren't many pictures this weekend but it was wet and I was trying to stay dry.

Well another great weekend of camping. The wildflowers are out! So was the rain and wind on Saturday.

We got a late start this weekend as I had to work on Friday and Dawn had a CE class in Fresno.

We have been to Coe a few times in the past month or so and always seem to find it windy. Well this weekend it was wet and windy!

The wildflowers were great and our coyote friend showed up again. We didn't see any raccoons but some new mountain biking friends we met said they got some of their chicken.

I have to send out kudos to the hippie girl from Mattole Beach who gave me the idea about using the tarp on my truck. She didn't have a tent and used it as a vestibule off the back of her K5 Blazer.
